Testimony at the Maryland General Assembly (MGA) in support of HB 331 (the Bottle Bill)--a bill that would strengthen recycling, cut litter, and keep plastic and cans out of our parks, streams, and neighborhoods.

​This testimony was one of those moments where the mission becomes real: young people showing up where decisions are made.

​Maryland has over a million K–12 students across public schools, private schools, and home-schooling, so being able to speak as a student in a state legislative hearing is a rare opportunity, and I took it seriously.
